about

Not all victims of excessive force are men, and not all of them are from visible minorities either. Case in point: Justine Damond, an Australian-American who had called 9-1-1 because she heard noises that were reminiscent of rough sex and perhaps even rape in her alleyway and was gunned down by the police officers who came to see what was going on.

The cops were in their car, with their lights off, and Damond went to meet them; they got scared of the woman, a 40-year-old blonde who was barefoot and in her pajamas. Again: they were in their vehicle, which weighs nearly two tons and can get to 60mph in under ten seconds. Some of them are bulletproof, too!
