The shooting of John Crawford III occurred on August 5, 2014. Crawford was a 22-year-old African-American man shot and killed by Beavercreek police officer Sean Williams, in a Walmart store in Beavercreek, Ohio, near Dayton, while holding a BB gun.

That BB gun was for sale at the store. He just had it in his hand and was talking on his cell phone while shopping, so it's unclear if he heard the police giving him any warning (witnesses claim there was none).

I mean, who knew one could die inside a Walmart on other days than Black Friday?
